The telecommunication type approval in USA is handled by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The purpose of the FCC certification progress is to assure that telecommunication devices could be operated without generating unacceptable interference. FCC Certification is required for most transmitters that are used in the United States and its territories. A FCC ID must be printed on the product following corresponding requirement after the approval.
The FCC’s Rules are found under the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 47. Generally, the certification covers requirements in radio, EMC and SAR.
Together with our partner lab and telecommunications certification bodies (TCB), ATMCL can provide one-stop service including FCC requirement explanation, lab testing and final approval application.
